The Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2013/14  Concert in the Gardens headlined by Pet Shop Boys was one of the most spectacular in our 21 year history. Joined on the bill by The 1975, Nina Nesbitt and Edinburgh’s own The 10:04’s the event was a total sell-out and the crowd welcomed 2014 in spectacular style with a sound and visual feast and five firework displays from Edinburgh Castle.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the party at Concert in the Gardens, saying goodbye 2013 and hello to the Year of Homecoming Scotland 2014.

Concert in the Gardens – Pet Shop Boys

‘For an event which is all about precise, expensively-wrought spectacle for a crowd of all ages and backgrounds, it was the perfect set.’

‘…the Pet Shop Boys found a couple of hours in amongst this winter’s storms to deliver one of the most sublime sets ever witnessed on this stage.’
**** Daily Record

‘First song after the bells was Go West, which transformed Princes Street into the biggest gay disco on the planet. If this opening musical sally is anything to go by, Edinburgh - and indeed Scotland - in 2014 is already a state of art.’
