Street Party
Sunday 31 December 2023 – into the New Year
Since 1993, the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party has welcomed millions of party people to celebrate in our historic capital, the ‘Home of Hogmanay’, singing and dancing our way into the New Year beneath the majestic Edinburgh Castle.
An evening of spectacular fireworks, music and light, celebrating the arrival of the New Year with friends old and new from around the world.

First Footin’
New Year's Day...
New for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2022, First Footin’ presented an afternoon of FREE live music and performance taking place in various city centre attractions, pubs and venues across both Old & New Town areas.

Sprogmanay
Sunday 1 January 2pm – 4.30pm
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is very pleased to announce the return of ‘Sprogmanay’, a free afternoon of fun for kids on New Year’s Day, within the incredible surroundings of the National Museum of Scotland. It’s free, unticketed, with the events and activities operating on a ‘First Come First Served’ basis.
